This fun, interactive program with books, movement, music, art and hands-on activities is designed specifically for preschoolers and their caregivers.
Upcoming PEM Pals themes for September & October:
September 1: Katie Oberlander helps you brush up your acting skills and reads Color Mittens by Margaret Wise Brown. An art activity follows that explores color through paint.
September 8: Susie Lord, aka Susie Magoozy the silly storyteller, will delight you with a lively story about the fall.
September 15: Join Marnie Mysnyk from North Shore Yoga to roar like a lion! Slither like a snake! Stand tall like a tree! And learn the rainbow dance! Children will tap into their imaginations and experience a fun and playfulway to learn basic yoga postures, breathing exercises, games, creative movement and visualizations.
September 22: Our friend and drama teacher Katie Oberlander returns more more fun with acting and storytelling.
September 29: Carole Finn-Weidman returns to PEM. This time as the Cat in the the Hat!
October 6: Katie Oberlander returns for more fun, story telling and art.
October 13: Heather Tharpe-Goddard will read "It's Pumpkin Time!" by Zoe Hall to celebrate fall and Halloween. An art activity follows.
October 20: Our friends from Curious Creatures return to show us some of their 'spooky' critters! Afterwards see if you can find creatures in works of art.
October 27: More fun with stories and art.
